Does Walter "mark"? Do frenchies even mark? I know some dog breeds tend to but I'm actually not sure about frenchies. I am looking to get a male frenchie but everyone is so concerned that he will mark everywhere. Is there any truth to this?

hm, we have to say that we don’t have a ton of expertise in this arena. walter marks occasionally on walks, like most dogs, but never, ever, ever in the house. we suspect it may have to do with when he was fixed - early-ish, at 16 weeks. fixed dogs are way less likely to mark.
but marking is a pretty normal method of communication between dogs, so don’t be alarmed (oh, and females can mark too) - as long as your little guy is house trained and well socialized he should be fine. there’s a good article on Pets WebMD with lots of in-depth info about this subject. good luck!
